UPDATE:I've been using this head for about 20 months, alternating it with two other similar heads and cutting as well as it did when new. This head gets used once or twice a week. The battery just died on the original shaver, so I'll be using it with a new shaver soon.The only problem that I've had is that the "door" on one of the outer heads won't stay closed, so I have to use a strip of gaffer tape to keep it closed. The doors are held closed by two flimsy plastic posts and one of them broke off when the head was about 3 months old, but the rest of the posts have held up OK.I use the shaver dry and have never cleaned the head with water. I use a small vacuum to clean out most of the trimmings, then blow it out with Dust-Off canned air.I usually shave every other day. If I skip a few days, I use a corded trimmer to cut my hair as short a possible, then move the the shaver. One problem with this head is that has very limited capacity for trimmings, so if the stubble gets too long, the head will literally be packed full of trimmings, even if trimmed short with the corded trimmer.-------------------------------I bought this for my new AidallsWellup AW 6D shaver. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TDRL7Z7It appears to be identical in every respect to the original Aidalls head.Like the Aidalls head, the heads are hard to open and they don't lock open, so they're constantly flopping shut while I'm trying to clean them. But this is a minor problem and wouldn't stop me from buying another one of these heads.
