I have a Goldendoodle puppy who is four months old and appears to be taller every morning! I was concerned that while using her regular feeding bowls which are lower to the ground, she may injure her neck and possibly get bloat, which can be life threatening. This combinationfeeder bowl and water bowl with stainless steel insert is sturdy and was easy to assemble. It's simple to clean and it matches the color of my kitchen. This product accomplishes just what I wanted it to, for her to eat more comfortably and to slow down her eating and keep her healthy and safe. I have ine suggestion though... to make a matching silicone mat available to purchase with it. There are mats available from different companies in colors similar to the bowl, but they don't match closely enough. All in all, GREAT PRODUCT!Perfect for my Shiba Inu! She has arthritis and she is blind so the height helps her shoulders and neck and the puzzle part helps with brain stimulation. Recommend this product for any small to medium size dogs. Even my cats love the water dish part of it!We bought this for my Boston Terrier puppy who is a notorious food gobbler! She will eat a whole bowl of food in under a minute. We wanted to get her something raised (our other short snouted dogs have raised tilted bowls to help reduce air intake) but that would slow her down. This little vacuum cleaner was only slowed down a very small amount by this bowl. It’s not the fault of the feeder, she’s just a clever little dog! I think for a slightly less determined dog this could work, but we will keep looking for something that works for our girl.I got this product for our older Golden Retriever to raise up the food and water dish which does exactly what it was intended for. I like that the legs can be added/removed for size of dogs. Note that the "instructions" don't really cover this well, but do take note of the F (Front) R (Rear) legs have markings on them. R should (I think) go on the higher end of the bowl as it does appear raised. Additionally, before adding the legs, make sure to remove the rubber anti-skid pads so the legs snap in 100%. Oversight on my part, but wasn't apparent the first time around until a leg fell off.Nice that the top dish is removable from the base so you can toss it in the top dishwashing rack. I would like to see the food/water sides each removable individually so you could wash them independently or adjust them in a dishwasher at different times/configurations.Gets the job done, but possible improvements.Great Size for my Austrian Mix Breed. Helps her not have neck problems from having to bend down as much. Needs to have one more level of height though. Satisfied Customer.I was and still am pleased with the product. My dogger eats out of it, and it's really easy to take apart and clean. Of course, it's not necessary to take it apart to clean it.This bowl has definitely slowed my furbaby down. The size is perfect for the amount of food to feed her. The height is great. Take the feeding bowl off and turns it into a water bowl. Totally suggest this product.This has been great for my little old man. He would gobble his food too quickly using a regular bowl which would make him bloat and give him terrible gas or just plain make him sick. His tummy has been SO much better using this and he doesn't have to stoop almost to the floor when he's eating. Rinse it after each use and clean up is a breeze. Well worth the money!Best slow feeder/raised bowl I've ever purchased. I've owned 4 english Bulldogs who require the slow feeder. I have spent a ton of money on various feeding bowls with little success. This one is absolutely amazing. Only suggestion would be to have it in stainless steel to lessen the chance of bacteria with plasticWe have Two dogs , feeding use to be a frenzy... this controls the tempo , slowing our male down making it far more calm , eliminating food competition. (Fantastic) . The bowl itself is very well constructed no sharp edges and its design really works allowing for proper digestion as well. Sturdy unit . Highly recommendBought this because puppy was eating too fast and then getting sick. No problem since we started using. Only thing is don't leave in pen with dog unsupervised and they will think it is a chew toy and start chewing it. With that said ours has chewed on it several times and you can not really tell unless you look close, so it is durable as well.Wow this really worked! I had a dog who would continually gulp their food and then be prone to vomiting it up and now with the new dish she just nibbles at the little spots and eats her food slowly there's been a huge Improvement. I saw this on Pinterest and I was happy that I checked it out.Absolutely fantastic product! My golden would inhale her food in literally 30 seconds and now she finally is able to eat at a slower pace. This bowl allows her to pace herself and really slow down to a reasonable rate! Highly recommend it! The grooves do make it trickier to clean, but still worth it!
