Not a lot to get excited about when a consumer product does exactly what it is supposed to do. As a chemist, 100% pleased with this product. I have used for years.I have a $300 coffee maker from Breville.Over the last few years I have used this about 6 times. Easy to use and always get excellent results. It's usage is easy. It does require several pots of water to rinse out the fetid smell and taste of the water in the machine.Realmente cumplio con nis espectativas. Lo usé en mi cafetera dolce gustoLiked that it really works. When something works it means the value is more than worth it.ExcelenteThis is a little higher price than other descalers. But the convenience and performance offset any other do you descalers that I’ve used.I used to use cheap descalers on my old espresso machine and had to send it in for service after three years and again at five year.I’ve used this factory recommended premeasured Durgol for several years with my new super automatic espresso machine and never had a problem. Granted it might not be the descaler, but why take the chance on 2000 to $5000 automatic espresso machine?I use it to descale my Verismo coffee maker.I've been having problems with my coffee machine, not working as it should. Had the light on for descaling so did some research and found this product. Absolutely fantastic. Unpackaged the product, placed it next to the machine, ready to deploy. Came back ten minutes later to begin the process. Flicked the machine on and no light. This product is so good, the threat of it alone, works wonders. Machine has been functioning well for the past week. Now I've written this, it may go wrong again... But... If it does, I'll do the same again.I checked around on the Amazon site for a reliable descaling solution, and eventually opted for this one from the Swiss brand durgol. This company has been making this type of product for over 65 years, and have an excellent reputation, so I felt safe using it in our Dolce Gusto coffee machine. The process of descaling is straight forward, and it’ll work on most coffee machines. Inside the box is a leaflet with clear instructions on how to use.Our machine displays an orange light when it’s ready for descaling (usually after it’s made 300 cups). However, after thoroughly descaling our machine for the first time, the orange light continued to stay on. If you ever have this issue simply turn off the machine, then press and hold down the power button, and keep your finger on it for 5 seconds, when released it should flash orange & green, turn it off, then when you turn the machine back on it should be green - problem solved! We definitely saw improvements after using this durgol solution. The coffee ‘stream’ certainly flows stronger now, and the coffee-making process is quicker - so happy days! ? Considering our positive results, and given the reasonable price of this 2-pack, this is a product I would highly recommend.I brought this as I hadn’t descaled my Dolce Gusto machine before, and it was making more noise than normal and drinks wasn’t getting as hot.The descaling process was pretty straightforward, it’s basically a case of rinse and repeat a couple of times, once the product has worked it’s magic. Afterwards my machine was a lot more quieter again and drinks were coming out extra hot! It’s a shame it’s a couple pound more expensive on Amazon, than it is on the Dolce Gusto site.Ordered for my Nescafe Dolce Gusto as I had a yellow light on the machine - read the description on this item and seemed to be for this machine.Following the instructions I was still getting the yellow light after running through the first bottle so tried the second as well. Ran through more hot water through and also cold however yellow light is still showing.RUBBISH!!!!I use filtered water in my coffee machine, so it's not like it was bad with limescale anyway. I only bought this product because the machine indicates after so long that it needs to be descaled, regardless of if it does or not.So, I can't say that this is or isn't a working product.
