Bought the king quilt for my queen sized bed because I wanted more like a bedspread. Worked perfectly. My complaints on the quilt are construction, quality of fabric, and the color of the tan. The pieces were not all secured to each other so some separated when I washed the quilt. It’s fixable so not a dealbreaker. The fabric is very rough, and even fabric softener didn’t make it less scratchy. Wouldn’t want to snuggle with it, lol. The main objection I have is the color of the tan. It’s more like a tea or coffe stain than a true tan. It’s a very depressing, dirty looking color. I couldn’t keep it on my bed for that reason. I’ll keep it as an emergency blanket only.Followed washing instructions to a T. Looks as if the matting is coming through the stitching. Or the thread is cheap. Either way the black has the appearance of lint, this will not come off due to being the matting/thread. Already has a square coming apart. Picture online does not show true color, appears lighter in photo (even in mine) definitely a darker color khaki. I have purchased several items from VHC. First time I am not happy with a product, such a shame this quilt is such a very pretty design.Love this it is very comfortable. Medium weight. But looks blue in some lighting but it great for blue room I put it in. NiceThe whole set was purchased for my master bedroom. Very nice!! Really nice quality!! But the black really looks blue ?. But I do love it!!! Shows lots of lint, I just use my lint brush on it. You will love it anyway, looks nice and it’s well made! ❤️This quilt is beautiful, well made, and medium weight which was exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased that I just went online to order another quilt from this maker. This is the first comforter/quilt to actually cover my king sized bed, ever. Pretty awesome! This is my first quilt and I love the look/feel of all cotton, and knowing it was hand-made. I'm glad I can wash it, but the drying confuses me a little. When I received it I washed it on delicate in a front load washer, but then after reading a little bit on hand-made quilts, decided against drying it while it was too wet. Left it out over some chairs during the evening near heater vents and turned on the fan in the room (because if I left it on the floor as recommended my pets would probably decide it was there for them lol), until it was drier the next morning and then I placed in the dryer on low for a bit to complete the drying process. It seems to have held up very well so far and it seems pretty warm. Overall, very happy with my purchase and love the rustic look it adds to my bedroom.Okay.. I like this quilt.. But I have one issue.. when I was reading reviews I saw where others said it looks a little blue.. Like a dark blue... But the description reads Black.. So I think it is black but it seems to have some dark blue undertones or something. I like the material. I have washed it and it washed up nice. I just wished it looked black all the time.. Instead I get the question when someone see's it.. Is it Black or Blue??? Also it is not a heavy quilt just perfect for us to keep warm, but not to heavy to make you sweat.. It's just perfect for our liking as far as thickness.I absolutely love this quilt!! It's the perfect weight. I have the matching curtains and just love the entire look!
